The Looking Glass Optique started out as an idea and was brought to life by a husband and wife team, Dr Vu Lam and Dr Rosa Tran.  They met while doing their undergraduate studies at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA and continued their journey at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL. 

Dr Vu Lam grew up near the sunny beaches of San Diego.  He graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Arts with a background in Biology.  His discipline encompasses glass blowing, sculpture and ceramics.  His artistic abilities and creativity has won him awards during his studies.  His passion for studio arts has carried over to his design for The Looking Glass. 

Dr Rosa Tran is from the quiet town of Opelousas, LA.  While working towards her degree in Psychology at Tulane, her family relocated to Dallas.  After graduating cum laude from optometry school in 2003, she has been practicing in the Dallas area.
